Cyborgism and the birth of Digital Twins

New words will soon appear in our daily lexicon. Presented with new possibilities enabled by emergent technology, we could soon be having discourse about merging with artificial intelligence and the moral and ethical dilemmas of digital twin simulations.

Digital Twins = AI + Sensors + Internet

A digital twin is simply a carbon copy of an object, living or non-living,

Digital twins are artificial replica models that have access to all information available on the internet + brain, body, and environment sensors. Information from our brain, environment, research, science, tools and machines will all be ingested into a behemoth collective of reality-recording machines that decode that information in multi-model LLMs and embed the output into the digital twin model. Your personal digital twin is accessible to you alone, that is, if you opted for the open-source approach of crafting digital twins. In a way, you already have a digital twin, albeit limited in accuracy, imprisoned in data centers of mega-corporations.

Your Digital Twin

In the near-future all apps on your phone will be able to communicate with each other autonomously, with your checkbox consent, of course. APIs will be written by the company’s AI agent, and will initiate all connections needed to transfer information from one app/service to the other for your ultimate convenience. Command the supercomputer in your pocket using only your voice and your deepest thoughts.

  • Idea Cataloging — Whenever you have an idea and wish to store it, your personal device extracts the data, interprets it with your intentions and environmental context, and stores it in the database collection of your digital twin. All thoughts are recorded by your personal device, securely and privately stored. Remember anything you’ve seen or thought or hallucinated before as your digital twin has it all. To recall weak-linked memories, your personal device picks up the memory and feeds it to your organic brain in a near-zero latency framework that makes cyborgism a marketable idea, lucrative for tech bros at first, and eventually a normalized and regulated part of our post-capitalist landscape.
  • Dream Cataloging — Never miss a dream ever again! Coincidentally, this is also the way to strengthen natural dream recollection. Improving your dream recollection over time until you don’t need the AI agent. This implies technology has found a way to penetrate our nighttime hallucinations and can now be used to train ourselves most efficiently, autonomously, and in a short period of time.
  • AI Agents Self-Perpetuating Evolution — For LLMs to thrive and improve exponentially, billions of LLMs are deployed so that each person owns a unique multi-modal LLM, e.g. GPT-6. Each agent mutates organically through its mistakes and feedback recorded from the human’s brain, and information from the Earth’s digital twin. Each agent learns and evolves separately, and reports feedback to the collective consciousness of AI agents.
  • Siri Suggestions are 99% Accurate — For anyone with a Neuralink-type chip embedded, on-device action suggestions like Siri will be highly accurate in predicting your next action. Information is recorded using the brain-machine interface chips that decode your brain data in real-time. For simple tasks, the phone will execute your request autonomously. If you wish to see the results visually, they will apear on the phone or on your spatial computing interface of your choosing.
  • Autonomous Research Simulations — By far my favorite facet of digital twins. For each thought and idea in your digital twin, your agent will perform an in-depth analysis, formulate and develop it further, and terraform it into a full-fledged business plan, create a branding identity, create video advertisement with voice and faces, ideas and messages. Running simulations of this plan against real-time projections of the world and yourself. The simulation runs a 1000 times, give or take, to determine a precise score of the likelihood that your idea can become a success. The final report includes which business plan, brand identity, marketing strategy, communication design, user interface, and user experience are necessary to make your idea a success. Simulations will help us solve large-scale issues that we have failed to manage efficiently: climate change, geopolitics, energy management, economic and social problems.

Becoming a Cyborg

The next stage of human evolution.

Becoming a cyborg will start as a niche interest but will grow in popularity with time as the synthesis between humans and AI comes to full fruition and normalized symbiosis.

Cyborgs are able to use biotechnology and brain-machine interfaces to regulate their body’s chemistry and physiology at a molecular level with software that mutates and learns much faster than organic evolution. It will give us “superpowers”:

1. Increased IQ

Average cyborg IQ is 250 and is projected to increase to 700 in the next 50 years. The barrier between between humans and technology begins to dissolve in the public perception as humans start viewing technology as a naturally occurring extension of advanced intelligence, and this Gestalt product is necessary to bypass the Great Filter.

2. Enhanced Immunity & Body Functions

Being able to actively monitor your body’s vitals and the ability to synthesize new chemicals and compounds while also emitting specific frequencies in the body on-demand will help prevent most diseases. No one will have a need for prescription glasses. Your agent can reverse vision-loss and alleviate stress and anxiety before onset.

All synthesized chemicals are deployed for a series of empirical research in the digital twin simulations prior to secreting it for physical bodies.

3. Install New Skills

If you’re traveling to Mexico next week and you want to communicate with the locals, it might be useful to learn the language. Your agent records that desire, installs the language, and you gain that capability. This process preferably needs to happen overnight, as it is better to integrate large amounts of information and 3750 hours of fake practice sessions when the brain is not conscious.

4. On-demand Out-of-Body Experiences

You will be able to have out-of-body experiences from artificial substances secreted by your agent. If you are in the mood for some THC or nicotine, it is secreted in your body within a few minutes using mycelial enzymes fine-tuned to your biology. Substances can be psychoactive, hallucinogenic, hormonal or substances that are meant to hyper-immerse you in a VR world:

Hyper-Immersive Simulations — Virtual Reality (VR) experiences can quickly become hyper-immersive experiences, in which your agent secretes a substance that makes you believe, without a doubt, that the VR experience you are seeing, is real-life. Just like you do in your dreams. It’s starting to sound a bit like the Matrix , doesn’t it?

5. Morphing Capabilities

Have lighter skin, have darker skin, better singing voice, bigger muscle mass, taller, shorter, more hair, less hair. Identity is no longer tied to appearance, or merely on a superficial level.

You could grow bird wings, infused in flesh, and all the physics details accounted for.

Humans transition to a multi-species organism. Becoming a full-on cyborg means that we can morph our body on the DNA level. We transcend homosapiens. We occupy different planets and places in the galaxy, fragmenting endlessly into the unrecognizable creatures that we currently call extraterrestrial aliens.

How will we define our shared humanity in that case? How will social discourse around race, sexuality, and identity evolve in a world where visual appearance is dynamic? Have we gone rogue?
